John Ferguson Came to this via the great line up of fab musicians, eg MLockheart, LJurd, RMullarkey, JParricelli, THerbert et al & even a 'legend' in these parts, Dedi Madden! Sometimes albums with such luminaries can disappoint, but this one definitely doesn't. Great tunes and fab big arrangements, at times reminiscent of Neil Ardley at one end of contemporary jazz history and Maria Schneider at the other - and that means it's first class in my book! Do yourself a favour and buy this. Excellent! Favorite track: Fields Beneath.
